Two friend of mine were *outsourced* when Valleywag cut back staff this month, but I have to say, overwork, adverseity and tough times definitely are stimulants for Valleywag. Seems like the writing on the site hasn't been this sharp and rapier quick for a while--whatever stimulants Owen and Paul are taking, they're working great.
